How to Prevent Period Rashes
Period rashes are a common concern for many women. During menstruation, prolonged moisture, friction, or exposure to certain materials can irritate sensitive skin.
One of the most important steps in preventing rashes is choosing sanitary pads that allow the skin to breathe. Pads designed with soft, breathable materials help reduce friction and improve comfort during long hours of wear.
Another factor that can sometimes contribute to irritation is artificial fragrance used in some hygiene products. While these fragrances are intended to create a sense of freshness, sensitive skin may react differently to added chemicals.
Changing sanitary pads regularly is also essential. Experts generally recommend changing pads every 4–6 hours, depending on flow, to maintain hygiene and reduce moisture buildup.
Wearing comfortable clothing, maintaining personal hygiene, and choosing thoughtfully designed hygiene products can significantly reduce the chances of period rashes.
At VYRA, we believe menstrual care should focus on comfort and skin-conscious protection so women can feel confident throughout their day.
